HPV-Screening

Kræftens Bekæmpelse briefed to us that many young Danish females in their twenties do not go to screenings for cervical cancer. This project was a one-week where we used Google Venture design sprint method for the first time to create a solution fast. This project was a one-week where we used Google Venture design sprint method for the first time to create a solution or fast.

The concept

Before we started the sprint, we had one day to interview people within target group with the purpose to identify customer jobs, pains and gains for our Value Proposition Canvas. We began the sprint with the insights we’ve gotten from the brief, interviews and VPC in mind.

We discovered multiple pain points and opportunities in our flow chart map and began sketching different solutions. Our final solution was a landing page where we focused on the informative aspect. Through our insights we discovered they didn’t have enough info about the subject to understand what it was about and didn’t knew the connection to the HPV vaccine. To accommodate our insights, we created graphics and delivered all the information they need to understand why its important. Furthermore, we wanted to demystify the screening process with a “walk-through” video where we suggested using a celebrity/influencer Sofie Linde as host.

At last we discovered from the interviews, that not all felt comfortable calling their doctor for booking an appointment or to ask questions. We found an existing but lesser known app called Min Læge (My Doctor), where you can ask questions or book an appointment easily. In the app you could specifically choose to book an appointment for a screening for cervical cancer.
